Dr. Tyler Blount, DMD

Dr. Tyler Blount is the Lead Dentist at Blount Dental Group. A Louisville native, Tyler attended college at the University of Kentucky, earning a degree in biology. After college, Tyler attained his DMD at the University of Louisville. During his residency, Tyler became skilled in a wide variety of dental ailments and surgical techniques. Tyler is involved with the Christian Medical & Dental Association, which through bible studies and mission trips has given Tyler the opportunity to serve others through dentistry.

Beyond Blount Dental Group, Tyler serves as a part-time lecturer at UofL Dental School, has been married to his wife Taylor for 6 years, enjoys time with his two daughters, is passionate about serving in the local church, and enjoys golfing, fishing, and time with his Golden Retriever rescue from Istanbul, Turkey.

Dr. David Blount, DMD

Dentist

Dr. David Blount brings more than 35 years of experience serving patients in the Lyndon community. Born in Waco, Texas, he moved frequently early in life before settling in Louisville. He studied biology at the University of Kentucky and the University of Louisville, where he discovered his passion for dentistry, earning his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry in 1984. After graduation, he joined Dr. James “Jim” Kelly in practice.

Dr. Blount is deeply committed to providing high-quality, relationship-centered care. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Kentucky Dental Association, Louisville Dental Society, and the Pankey Institute. Outside the office, he enjoys golf, singing in his church choir and the Louisville Chorus, and spending time with his wife of 42 years, Cindy, and their young granddaughter.

Dr. Eric Veal, DMD

Dentist

Dr. Eric Veal has been a valued member of the practice since 1999, bringing more than two decades of experience and a deep commitment to patient care. A Louisville native, he earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology and Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Louisville, graduating from dental school in 1995, and completed a General Practice Residency at the University of Vermont in 1996.

Dr. Veal is passionate about using dentistry as a way to serve others and reflect his faith. He is active in his church’s men’s and middle school ministries and has participated in eleven dental mission trips. Married to his wife Denise since 1996, he is a proud father of four and remains grateful for the opportunity to provide quality care to his patients.
